  from Robert Mc Creight in Texas. I saw no mention of any Mc Creight's from
  Philadelphia.

  My father was born in Philadelphia in 1906 his father and aunts and uncles
  were born in Philadelphia in the late 1800's. I was the youngest in my family
  and never met my Mc Creight Grandparents so I cannot trace back beyond the
  1870's.
  
  I would appreciate anything you can tell me.
  
  I have two brothers, James and Thomas Jr., along with two sisters Mary Pat
  McCreight Palmer, and Connie Mc Creight D'Esposito. most of the Mc Creights I
  know, and there are not too many, live in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  I work for Williamson Caterers im Philadelphia, and I graduated from La Salle
  College High School (1971) and Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science
  (1975). I married Lizanne Williamson in 1979 and we have seven children aged
  8 to 18. We live in Havertown, Pa, a suburb of Philadelphia near the historic
  Main Line.
